CONGRATULATIONS also to John and Lisa Hanmer on the birth of their son, Ethan Charles Hanmer, on Sunday, April 27, 2008 He weighed 7 pounds, 8ounces and measured 20½ inches. We celebrate with great-grandparents, Don and Barb Bellinger.

MEMBERSHIP INVESTIGATION CLASS: If you have an interest in knowing more about our First Presbyterian Church family, you are invited to explore church membership with Pastor Dan and Pastor Sandy. A single, three-hour class will be offered on Saturday, May 17, 9 AM to Noon. Then, on Wednesday evening, May 28, those who wish to become members, after having taken the class, will meet with Session at 7:30 PM. New members will be presented to the congregation on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at either 8:30 or 10:00 AM service. Pre-Registration is required since there will be advance reading to be completed in preparation for the class. If you are interested in this opportunity, please check the membership interest box on the attendance register during the worship service -OR- contact the church office (264-8167).

A COMMUNITY FORUM WILL BE HELD AT PETERMAN AUDITORIUM, Wednesday, May 7 at 7:00 PM. R5, a Christian team passionate about helping our students to make positive choices within today’s society, will be speaking to students during the day. During the evening forum, R5 will offer to community and parents, tools to reinforce the positive messages they shared with the kids. Everyone is welcome to attend.
